Government and Entrepreneurial Trade Mission to Brazil 21/25.05.2012 Liguria International, as the Liguria Regional Authorities implementing party, will act as national group leader for the logistics and nautical sector as part of the State-Regions-Chamber of Commerce System Mission promoted by the Ministry for Economic Development, to be held in Brazil from 21 to 25 May 2012 with participation by sixteen Italian regions. The primary objective of this initiative is promotional activity to support the sectors of excellence made in Italy with a view to helping penetration by national and Ligurian SMEs in Brazil, an extremely strategic country due to the great development potential it has shown over recent years and will continue to have in the short-term. The Mission will cover many different sectors (Aerospace, Agro-food, Agro-industry, Automotive, Contract, Building, Energies, Social housing, Wood-Furnishings, Logistics, Mechanics, Nautical, Fashion System) and will visit several cities: Sao Paolo, San José dos Campos, Curitiba, Santos and Belo Horizonte. The initiative includes analysis with experts, visits to production districts and B2B meetings with selected local counterparts. The programme will be organised into an initial unified plenary session in Sao Paolo, with presentation of trade collaboration, business and investment opportunities with Brazil; a bilateral Italy-Brazil Forum and B2B meetings with economic operators and local counterparts dedicated to all the sectors. This will be followed by parallel sessions in Sao Paolo, San José dos Campos, Curitiba, Santos and Belo Horizonte, with technical themed and B2B meetings.
